Worktable Docs

Worktable gives the work you do with agents somewhere durable to live. Docs, interactive HTML, records, annotations, and conversations share one file-backed workspace that you can review, continue, and move between deployments.

Path Best for Where the workspace runs
Worktable Desktop The simplest native experience on an Apple Silicon Mac On your Mac, on a self-hosted server, or in Worktable Cloud
Worktable Cloud A managed workspace available from any browser and supported agent client Hosted for you
CLI install Linux, Intel Macs, servers, and self-hosting On a machine or server you control

All three use the same content model and agent tools. Local and self-hosted workspaces expose their files directly; Cloud keeps the live workspace hosted and lets you export the same portable content as a standard .wtb package.

  • Connect your agent — choose the right setup for coding agents, always-on agents, and desktop or web AI apps.
  • Your first space — put a real project in the workspace and complete the human-agent review loop.
  • What to use it for — workloads where a durable workspace beats chat scrollback.
  • File-backed foundation — what stays portable across local, self-hosted, Desktop, and Cloud Worktable.
  • The content model — spaces, docs, HTML docs, records, annotations, and the conversation layer around them.
  • How agents fit — tools, permissions, participants, review, and trust signals.
