Overview
Worktable is an open-source workspace for work you create yourself or with agents. Write documents, draw plans, build interactive tools, and track records. Keep the results together so you can inspect, revise, and continue them later.
Get started
Section titled “Get started”Choose where your workspace runs: on your computer, on a server you operate, or in Worktable Cloud. Desktop and the browser are ways to open it.

Then connect an agent and complete your first project. An agent can also follow the setup guide on your behalf.
Choose content
Section titled “Choose content”A workspace contains your work. A Space groups a project or area of interest. Within a Space, choose the format that fits:

| Drawings | Sketches, layouts, and diagrams you can edit visually. |
| HTML docs | Interactive explanations, calculators, and custom interfaces. |
| Records | Items with shared fields that change independently. |
Use annotations for feedback attached to content and threads for conversations with connected participants. Spaces explains organization, search, and document lifetimes.
Work with agents
Section titled “Work with agents”Connected agents can find and change work within their granted access. You can edit it directly, leave feedback, or ask another agent to continue. Optional skills provide workflows for clients that support them. A connection alone does not make an agent check messages or maintain documents automatically.
For examples, try research decisions, project handoffs, tracking requests, or interactive tools.
Keep your work
Section titled “Keep your work”Local and self-hosted workspaces store content in a folder you control. Cloud hosts the same portable content format. Export a workspace to keep a copy or move it between installations. Exports contain content and history, not installation credentials or live agent connections.
